Cakedy Candy

Last week I was given this new sample from a Minnesota Based candy company, Called Cakedy Candy. When I first saw it I was unsure the thought of candy bar with cake.
When I opened it to try I was so shocked on the taste. The Chocolate when I bit into it did not crumble and fall a part it stayed with the cakedy part. It was smooth yet creamy had no after taste. the cake part was sweet yet not to rich. All in all it was so tastefull and light and would have no problem trying it again, actually I would love a whole box full. I also shared it with my family and a friend and they thought the same thing.

GHOST ADVENTURE IN MILAN MN

OK how does one begin writing a story on a ghost adventure especially with some friends and family that do not believe in this or think it is evil...???? So I will begin with it like this.

On wed Feb 16th Kevin and I went to Milan Mn were a friend was staying, at first thought nothing of anything of this at all, but when I started to have a bad asthma attack and felt a presence of someone next to me in which it gave me the goosebumps all the way through my body and then with in 5 minutes my breathing was back to normal it was so overwhelming to me.

then all of the sudden we noticed a plant hanging from the ceiling start to spin, I went over to it and checked for drafts or anything that could have moved this plant and could not explain this, however while standing in that area again felt a presence of someone there. there where many things that had happened that night but the one that got me the most was when my phone dialed itself, yes it dialed itself and left me a message what i heard was a lot of gurbish  but what it left on my phone a date stamp. here is what it left on my phone.

I know to some this all sounds not true but it sure was.. it was a pretty amazing night.Renee

Minnesota Weather

I have often tried to figure out why do I live in Minnesota,we have more winter months then the nice spring and summer, this year winter 2010 -2011 started in Oct and has not stopped, the month of Jan I swear it snowed every single day, seriously, it was so depressing. so far if I heard the weather man right we have had 67 inches of snow  this winter, I do know as a kid growing up I do believe that there were worst winters but I was a kid and did not care.. Now I am a adult and have to get to and from places and  this winter has been very hard.. I have to at times rely on Kevin to get me to work cuz I do not have 4 wheel drive and I would have never made it to work because some of the roads here do not get plowed till much later.
And it is also in Minnesota that we will get temps to be above 30 degrees and 2 days later we will get 10 inches of snow and a day later be so cold the the morning temp will be-25 and the wind chills will be at -28 now for anyone that has not been in Minnesota that is damn cold..
But with all of that we still have some beautiful things that happen when it warms up the trees look so awesome like this

then we have these things called sun-dogs although we do not like what they stand for the are beautiful so this picture shows a sun dog on each side of the sun, which by the way means very very cold temps on the way and yes they sure were cold but the beauty in this was amazing.

Then in Minnesota we have deer all over the place today I had to stop in the mixed freezing rain and snow to see this amazing site of deer in the middle of the road and off to the fields which there was at least 50 off them again beautiful.

So with all of the complaining we may do here in Minnesota with our snow and temps we have Minnesota has beautiful natural nature things to see all year long no matter how cold it is and that I guess is why yes I live here in Minnesota.... Last picture to share is of a wonderful sunset

Cooking

Hello,
I am wondering how many bloggers there are that love to cook? I have been cooking since I was 7 years of age and love to do this almost every year I come up with a new creation, and want to start a cook book but not really sure how to go about it.
And so if there are any followers or just plane readers that are reading this and have that same idea let me know what I should do. I have so many things, however there are a few things I am not sure yet if I want to give it up to anyone.
Any how lets see what we can do, maybe we can just share on the blog or just make a blogger cookbook.

Starting Over

Hello My Name is Renee,
I am very new to this Blogging but I thought I would give it a try to see how it goes.
I am recently divorced and when this day happened I truly thought my day was coming to a end, So I will start from the beginning Here.
On Nov 5th 2009 my Husband that I had been with for 16 years sits down on the couch next to me and says I am  emotionally  done and do not want to be married anymore, as you may know I was totally shocked by the news and at first was silent and just did not have any idea what to say, then I spoke and said no why are you wanting to do this, he said I am just drained and I want out.. I then said well lets go to counseling, he said nope do not want that just want a DIVORCE!!!!
I went from calm to well e rational, I started to cry and started to get rid of everything in site that was from our wedding and told him to get out.in which he packed his stuff and left I called my best friend Missie and told her and she was over just like that, with in 2 hrs he was back could not believe it.
he went to the spare room and went to bed.
I had text a real good guy friend of mine that we have been friends since high school and told him what happened at that time wanted a mans point of view of what he thought, and yes he told me exactly what I had suspected all along that he was cheating on me, but did not want to believe that he had done this to me.
The Next morning Steve had gotten up and tried to hug me and Kiss me and I said are you kidding me you just asked me for a divorce and you think I am going to embrace you just leave, and this time he had.
for many of weekends he left and went to his parents home. I then thought I need to restart my life also, so I started to drive back to my home area where I grew up and visited my family and friends alot.
Holidays were kinds tuff that year due to how close it was that Steve had asked for the Divorce, Spent Christmas day alone and was sad at first then my good friend Kevin had text me and from 4 p to 1 am we were chatting and having a great time, so it did make that day a ok day for me after all.
by Jan I decided I no longer could stand it and I moved out to a apartment of my own which Steve had no idea I had done I waited till he left that fri and I moved out and into my place in one day, on sunday when he got home he came home to me gone and was shocked I had done this, but I did and I was proud of myself because he had said you will not make it on my own.
To make this story short now I did move on with my life started dating a high school friend yes it is Kevin and I moved out of the cities and back to my home town area with Kevin and have gotten caught up with old and new friends and loving the area and my new job also was very hard to leave my last job of 10 years but I am very happy were I am today.
